Canadian Puck Line
This is a combination of point spread and Money line. The chosen pick must
cover the spread by the stipulated point spread which in return also has a
money line which will determine the amount the player is laying vs. the
return. If the player wagers on the Flames, they need to win outright or
lose by less than 1.5 points and the player will need to lay $210 for every
$100 he wishes to win. Whereas, if you wish to wager on the Maple leafs they
must win by 1.5 points and lay $100 for every $190 he wants to win.
Total
Players may also wager on the total amount of points scored by both teams to
go over or under (in this case 5). In hockey, this also has a money line
combined with the total. If you choose to wager on the Over 5 you would lay
$100 for every $190 you wish to win. If you take the Under 5 you would lay
$220 for every $100 you wish to win.
Money Line
Money line is also an option to wager on.
With Money lines, the point spreads do not matter. The Favorite and the
Underdog are is factored by the amount the player is laying vs. the return.
If you would take the Flames you would be LAYING
$100 to WIN $195. If you take the Maple leafs you
would LAY $210 to WIN
$100. With this type of wager, the player will always risk more to win less
on the favorite and risk less to win more on the underdog. The outcome of
the wager is determined by the team that wins outright.
